They're special stings because of the trial I think. Maybe the generic ones will have the new font and it will just take them time to realise and put them on any special stings they make.

Love the updated theme music, not sure about the actual credits yet but I don't instantly hate them which is a good sign lol!

Great start to this weeks episodes too - cant believe Tracy just stood up and and said that - well being Tracy actually I can - but the way she said it sounded like she was lying to me so fingers crossed they wont believe her.

They need to sort out the break music, it just seems odd.

When Roy asked Eddie which room Hayley was sleeping in, he answered "She's in Gary's, opposite the bathroom" however the subtitles had him saying "She's in t'garage, opposite the bathroom". Just thought I would mention it so it can get lost amongst the discussion of the new titles.

Ha ha. Imagine a garage upstairs in a house and now imagine Hayley sleeping in it.

Also, nice to see Tony and Robbie wearing crash helmets when they rode away. They may be law breakers but they are not health and safety law breakers.

I was presuming that was because they didn't want to be noticed if passed by police, but when Tony forgets to change his clothes from the prison uniform, and Hugo keeps on his camouflage gear he was first spotted in, you realise that's probably not the reason....

(I realise i've just called him Hugo, I forget his character name)

Love the new titles. Really hate the end of part 1 music though. I miss the old tune it had! You can noticed the difference in camera even on SD. It looks lovely. Looking forward to hearing the closing theme

I think Corrie will end up changing the end of part one music, they must see it doesn't work well

So no full opening titles for the 9pm episode tonight, but a nice sting like the closing of the full titles.

When I saw them last week I thought the music was a very acceptable subtle change and long overdue update - but on TV tonight I wasn't sure at all - just didn't seem right at all.

it seems to have swapped around. Most people liked the music and the titles not so much, now people like the titles, but the music not so much.

From what we could see behind the big promo, the ned credits seem to be the same as the opening. Although was it just me or did the last note it closing music not sound right?

That was a bit lazy. They just played the opening titles again as the closing titles. Half of me thinks it doesn't matter as we never/hardly ever see them but the little bits we did see looked crap. The credits just went over the bottom of the titles so everything looked incorrectly framed with the exception of the last shot where the credits replace the 'Coronation Street' text in the opening titles.
