I'm curious to know which hotel they filmed in

The Hotel used looked like the Midland Hotel near Manchester Central Library

I think the 'Café' sting is a montage of several locations and elements rather than one specific location. All the stings have had heavy post production work done to them.

Yes, I'm sure the Café sting has the reflection of back of The Kabin in it...

they don't mean the café on the street, which is reflecting the taxi office, it's nowhere near the kabin, they mean the shot in the opening credits of a café under a railway bridge with a viaduct and the hilton hotel tower in the background

When Carla fell over in the second episode this evening, was that acting or a real fall? It was very good.

When there was no voice over during the credits (on ITV1 SD at least) I thought someone had died. As far as I know, they haven't though.

Seems about the only thing that was good with the show right now. I wonder how many scenes they had to re-write for Betty's absence?

Was that the most comically bad fight ever tonight! Laughing I wasn't sure whether to laugh or cringe.

Don't get me started on Ken being, shall we call it "entertained" at the bar - could it look any more arkward! Laughing

I knew Steve was going to turn up and wonder what was 'flipping' going on!

So Jason is 28, Tyrone is 28 and Tommy is 18, shouldn't he be hanging around with Chesney or David Platt?

Tommy wouldn't fit in with anyone other than Tyrone & Jason, those two are 'two of the lads', David & Chesney aren't.

It was like something out of Batman-- just needed a few "kapow" captions

I assume a plain glass window will be put in, instead of a Rovers branded one. It'll be interesting if a Rovers one magically appears in a few weeks!
