Nice twist there.

John's body disappearing. Obvioulsy the jumping off the roof part of the story has been in the papers, but hadn't seen or read about the body disappearing. Not sure if anyone else had.

Won't put this in spoiler tags as I don't see the need - I reckon Stape is probably dead and this is some 'ploy' by the police to get Fizz to confess/give something away about what she knows.

I doubt it, surely they would have to tell you if your husband had died!?

I felt it was a fitting end to the story. It was unrealistic, but so was the entire storyline, and its just Johns luck that he accidently kills everyone else but when it comes to killing himself it doesn't work Laughing.

I didn't enjoy the trashing of the Barlows Living Room, really unnecessary and over done.

Yes it's soap but are we really expected to believe that the likes of Owen, Jason & Steve would just stand there idlely watching her rip down the Barlows front door with a sledgehammer ?

Seemingly no calls made to the police either ? And I fully expect the Barlows living room table and sideboard will be restored intact in future episodes.

This whole week on the programme has been stupid and badly done. At times it was like Doctors writers crew had been left to play with Coronation Street's cast and set.

Tonight's episode was the worst of a bad bunch. Why did everyone just stand there? Ken was the only person who went after Becky! Same in the hospital, the police officer told Fiz that John had gone upstairs, so why was she just standing there? Surely she would've gone up there as soon as she knew he was?

Yes, the Weatherfield Police, now there is a force that must be massively under performing. The ground level would surely have been swarming with coppers during that roof top stand off.

After some initial promise, especially with the anniversary and live episodes, it's beginning to look to me like Corrie have another duff producer.

To be honest I'm glad Becky smashed the place up, its been wanting a makeover for years.

In all seriousness though, it was ridiculous how Steve really didn't try and stop her. Both when she was smashing the door in and when she was smashing the living room up, he just stood like a lemon. So did Owen, outside anyway - both chraracters would really step infront. I think the point was supposed to be that Becky couldn't be controlled or approached, but to be honest it didn't come across like that for the most part.

I think tonights episode was average, but it did get good near the end. I enjoyed John's rooftop scenes, and the twist at the end. Overall I think Becky's storyline has been great, with a few twists and finally to see her snap was great, and its also obvious this will be the final stretch which will lead to her exit IMO.

Loving the Michelle Collins' trailer at the end of the episode too, cannot wait for Stella to arrive!

Writing was very rushed this week and agree with posts above. Especially the bit with Fiz getting hit by Owen's van paving way for John Stape to end up on the hospital roof.. it just all seemed like the writers were desperate just to finish these storylines.

I really enjoyed this weeks Corrie. Loved the scene with Becky and Steve towards the end of last nights episode, Katherine Kelly is a fantastic actress. She didn't say a word in that scene but was amazing.

I noticed they used the Granada building to film John falling off the roof. It would have been better if he had died so we could draw a line under this storyline, but overall it was very good.

I think the original plan was for him to die, but due to the fans love for the character, they let him escape Razz

The new advert for Corrie is fantastic

they did, they even got the corry set in the background

look at the 11th picture, of John holding Hope, you can see the museum building behind him and the top of the factory and Kabin roof below his right arm

I'm sure there were other angles they could have used so as not to get the set in shot

or is weatherfield general closer than we think
