I wondered why he didn't run to the coach, it's not like trying to get to a train passed the ticket barrier is it

was the house scenes with Jamie and Violet filmed in London, since they were not in a generally recognisable street it could have easily been any street in Manchester. Which is funny when you consider those characters are meant to be in London but the actors didn't actually go to London to film it

If that's the case, I did wonder initially whether a bit of 'green screen' might have been used, as the one scene featuring Sean & Marcus on the hill facing 'London' looked a little odd? (But I could be wrong?)

(Collinson likes his 'green screen' from Who!)

I thought this scene also looked a bit funny, but I think the skyline had just been coloured a little bit. It was probably filmed on quite a grey evening where they skyline was 'too dull' or it was too early in the evening for that midnight blue sky that in reality hardly ever exists!

I think it was all filmed in London as Sharon Marshall said on This Morning that they'd shot a scene right outside of the TM/Daybreak studios.

Also, Sean and Marcus probably had quite lights focusing on them in a pitch black park, so they stuck out a little

I thought the easter special was rather poor as well. It just seemed pointless for Violet and Jamie to appear at all - especially as they have now split them up for no reason at all. It would have been better if Sean had arrived to see Dylan and Marcus was looking after him - no need for Jamie and Violet to be seen and have to split them up. It also seemed pointless bringing Todd back for 1 episode as well. It also felt rather rushed but thankfully this rubbish wasnt dragged out any longer than half an hour - im also not buying this "it was originally an hour long episode" thing. ITV usually jump at the chance to screen extra Corrie so I cant imagine them telling Granada (ITV studios) to cut it down to half an hour. Im guessing the plan was always half an hour. I dont think the storylines were interesting enough for it to be a 1 hour episode.

Overall they could have made it so much better especially with 4 former characters returning. Poor effort IMO.

Yes, seemed pointless, although to be fair at least they maintained an element of continuity by having both Jamie & Violet make an appearance. Although both appeared to have had a personality transplant.

What was people's take on the Eddie Windass departure ?

Well the actor was underwhelmed by the his exit, although he's glad to be rid of the lank locks!

Betty has been taken ill Sad

It's amazing she's still on screen at 90.

I have noticed a distinct lack of Betty on Corrie in the last few months. She seems to only appear every couple of weeks at the moment, but at almost 91 it can hardly be helped.

I do enjoy the scenes she is in though. Always a bit of light-hearted relief away from Steve and Beckeh's troubles.
