Tonight's Coronation Street was fantastic, great to see Rita, Norris and Emily have more than one scene and the Salon scenes were funny.
Chris Fewtrell wrote the 7.30PM episode.
I do hope we are going to see more of Rita, Norris and Emily now.

Yes - but then again Grampian does not.......and STV are shocking!!!
Don't let us stop you returning to Grandadaland, which, let's face it, no longer exists.
STV land does, however. Make of that what you will.

Do you mean the new set at Trafford? I wonder if they've actually started work on it yet?
Looking forward to the end result anyway. I thought they might introduce a storyline like Weatherfield Council redeveloping parts of the city - which would allow them to remove that awful Rosamund Street arch and also correct other parts of the set - i.e. demolishing Victoria Court and rebuilding it in an effort to make Victoria Street look less like a back alley!
(Speaking of which, which character actually owns Victoria Court these days??)
I wonder how far along they are now with the construction

I thought they had at least started the process of divorce, because that led to Carla returning to explain to Maria why she shouldn't marry Tony.
No doubt the process was completed after he was sent down. Carla has never mentioned inheriting anything after Tony died. She wouldn't be in such a financial pickle after losing Frank's order if she'd inherited Victoria Court.
Wouldn't it be Carla? They never got divorced did they?
