I'm actually hoping we get a decent representation of a modern day corner shop when it's rebuilt.

I would of expected the original Idea to be black and white?

What about the other shop? I personnel would like it rid and a new house to be built instead,

The original concept for the actuall set came from a picture of a street the creator once saw. It was a corner shop with a row of terraced houses adjacent - much like how the set actually is. Therefore, even though it is pretty ugly, I think the corner shop is pretty crucial to maintaining that idea. Though it could be time for a change!

Ah yes, Archie Street. Even the early 70s title sequence featured shots of Archie Street and not the actual set. TVARK says the residents nicknamed the street "Coronarchie Street". Sadly, as you can see by the run down buildings in that photo, it was knocked down in the 70s.

I think I might have been past it, is it near Salford Lads Club?

Looks like they have fixed everything then. The Kabin just needs some new windows
and Rita will be back in there in no time. No other obvious the damage to anything
either. I expect trams will be running on that line again by the end of the week.

You'd think with over 20 tons of tram coming down on it, the rest of the building that comprises The Kabin and
the flats upstairs, would've been condemned as structurally unsound, and need to be completely demolished.

Tesco Express? Not completely absurd with the product placement coming in.

Perhaps a Frescho Express might be more fitting :p

Aadi Alahan, Asha Alahan, Michelle Connor, Liam Connor Jr and Liz McDonald were the only ones not in the whole week, I'm not sure if the 3 kids were actually seen at all, but they weren't credited.

In what scenes was Michelle?

He said Michelle wasn't in it.

Indeed he did. Silly me. Apologies.

Even with Archie Street looking as it does in that photo. When that photo was taken it was still safe to go round that part of Salford (Ordsall) - try it nowadays!!!
