I did actually like it, it made everyone think who will die or live, and that must have made it more watch-able as no one had any real idea!

Bit of a cop-out really. Okay I see they wanted to keep people in suspense by not really telling the correct number of deaths, but if that's the reason then they should have done the opposite. They should have advertised it as two deaths and then surprisingly we'd get a third, not advertise four deaths and then find out we're actually only to get three... and let's face it we all pretty much knew it was going to be Molly, Charlotte and Ashley or Claire.

But The Sun would have printed the three deaths anyway, they have these silly little insiders who like ruining things

It was good they wanted to keep people in suspense as I was wondering all week who the 4th death would be but it's a bit poor really! Would have been better if they had said that there will be deaths of some regular characters, not give a specific number, people would still have tuned in wondering who would die and if Peter, Rita etc would survive but not be disappointed at the end.

Looks like they have fixed everything then. The Kabin just needs some new windows and Rita will be back in there in no time. No other obvious the damage to anything either. I expect trams will be running on that line again by the end of the week.

What about the other shop? I personnel would like it rid and a new house to be built instead,

I'd prefer a monument to that man who died in his car. It's what he deserves.

If the shop didn't fall on Rita, what did? She was under a load of rubble but today we see that the Kabin is still standing.

Except the back end of the Kabin is missing Wink

I think the 'fourth death' could be Diggory, Pam mentioned he was ill tonight AND there needs to be a reason why he doesn't show at Molly's funeral

The rubble that fell on Rita was presumably from the bricks falling through the empty flat above

The original concept for the actuall set came from a picture of a street the creator once saw. It was a corner shop with a row of terraced houses adjacent - much like how the set actually is. Therefore, even though it is pretty ugly, I think the corner shop is pretty crucial to maintaining that idea. Though it could be time for a change!

I believe this was the actual picture:

I'm actually hoping we get a decent representation of a modern day corner shop when it's rebuilt.
