Loved the Rita line about the tram.
Was especially moved by Betty and Claire in the Rovers back room.
Betty Driver was brilliant. I know it was only a small scene in the scheme of things but subtly played and brought a tear to my eye.

I'm just watching the Coronation Street Omnibus. It is currently showing the live episode. They have added audio description to the programme since it was shown on Thursday. The subtitles have not been changed as far as I can see, even though some characters phrased things slightly differently to how they were written on the subtitles and presumably the script. The most obviously example being Carla saying "I thought he [Nick] would be here to see how Ashley was" when speaking to Leanne in the hospital just before the first break, despite the fact that both she and Nick knew that Ashley was dead at that point. The subtitles said "I thought he would be here to see how Peter was" which obviously makes more sense. It is also worth pointing out that the fireman's line "Get her a helmet" when Sally was going in to see Molly was not subtitled, so maybe it was just an ad-lib from that actor which might explain why Sally wasn't given a helmet.
EDIT: Worth mentioning that the AD bloke mentioned the fact that Sally was not wearing a helmet too.

I was hoping the AD might explain that. It didn't refer to it.
He didn't have the ID card when the baby was born but he did have it in the next hospital scene so he can't have stolen it as someone (Fizz) would have said something. It seemed to have a photograph on it. I don't know much about hospitals, but would you be stopped, have your photograph taken and then made to wait while someone makes up an ID badge if you are rushed in with a woman having a premature baby?
What was on John's ID Card and how did he use it to get past the police outer and inner cordon?

But for how long? We have seen three deaths so far, but the fourth is yet to occur - and I'm really hoping it it's not Rita. There's a lot of speculation elsewhere on the internet, however... and anyway Barbara may want to call it a day after nigh on 30 years.
"What happened??"
"A tram fell off the viaduct."
"A tram...? [...] What is it wi' me an' trams?"
If that last one isn't the best line of the year, I dare you to find me another.
We should all be happy that Barbara Knox is still playing Rita and we are not all in mourning.

The photo was of John and he even says to the police officer "Late shift mate". Hoping someone can shed some light on it. It wasn't a GMP or NHS ID.

Now why doesn't that have the NHS Logo, as I assume Fizz is not private.
