Sally Whittaker is such a crap actress. The only face she seems to be able to pull is laughing incredulously, even when Molly died last night.

Michael Le Vell's mouth irritates me too. They could both have done with being tied to the tracks

That's rubbish James. Hysteria, which is what she played, is something that does cause other people to double take, and not quite understand what they're seeing.

Life experience, kiddo - you'll see someone in that position one of these days, and you'll understand she was bringing more to the part than you realised.

I thought the ending with the U2 song was beautiful and very moving. It worked.

I feel a bit cheated that the fourth death was an unseen passer by, as it looks like Peter and Rita will survive, but at least they kept us wondering until the last minutes of the week.

I'm not sure where they will take the Stape-Fishwick storyline now - hopefully they will just rest it for a while. Dead women don't tell tales.

No - I'm looking at it from the point of view of that being all she ever does.

It's just a bit wooden for me, that's all - but then again she's managed to cling on to her part for so long by doing it

Nah. Don't accept that.

That either. She's a perfectly serviceable actor. And I'm not damning her with faint-praise - she's subtle, naturalistic and plays the motivation.

She's kept the job because she's good. They've had 10,000 actors through the doors (apparently). They're not slow at dismissing the dead wood.

If you don't warm to her, that's fine - but I think your critique is heavy handed and glib.

True. I thought the implication at the end was that they'd turned the machine off. If not, then we only have three deaths so far, unless they're counting Peter's flatlining.

was it not advertised as three funerals and a wedding?

EDIT: Never mind turns out it was four

Did they flick the switch? I might have looked away for a minute.

But until you see a sheet being drawn over her I wouldn't write off her survival. I think it would make an interesting twist after what we saw this week.
