I thought that was a great episode, and it'd be really hard to tell it was a live episode.

I did notice Izzy stand though, I thought I was seeing things until I came on this forum. Perhaps she got over excited and forgot lol

Apparentky to one of the TV critics on twitter, when replying to someone who had said about her standing said that she can apparently stand for very short periods of time.

they gave her one but she didn't wear it so the fireman has his hand over her head Confused

notice the children are absent as it's passed their bedtimes

Yeah the children are - I thought that children weren't allowed to work after 10 ? ( like BGT) or is younger children a earlier time?

I'm sure it is partly to do with not putting the pressure of a live episode on the shoulders of the child actors and partly to do with realism, kids probably would be sent to bed if something like this happened. The only child that could really appear in this episode is Simon as he is played by a 36 year old dwarf.

Many local education authorities won't license child actors to work after 1630.

Oh yeah it is up to Local authorities. Remember reading it as I said BGT.

I have to say well done to the cast of Coronation Street, that Live episode was fantastic and well acted by many people. So it looks like Ashley, Molly & Peter, but who will be the fourth?

Maybe he meant the 1st proper character?

Steve Huison, who plays Eddie Windass, has 'tweeted' that he'll be leaving the show in March. Sounds like he was pushed and he's not happy about it:

Quote:
"Seen as the News Of The World will be publishing it on Sunday, thought I'd let you know first that I'll be looking for work come March time."

"Thanks for all the concern. Can't really say much more. I'm sure the NOTW will explain."

"Tbh I'll be glad to get on with things. It's all unreal there anyway. No challenge. I'll miss the money and a few good friends."

What happened here then? He was in the live episode so he can't be that unhappy about it. Was it just normal NOTW nonsense?

Dev dies, AIUI

Maybe he will die in tomorrow's episode somehow.

He's contracted in the show until March, why wouldn't he be in the live episode ?

I read the atricle in question - was only less than a 1/4 of a page. Just said he wasn't needed anymore - it didn't even really say that there'd been pushed really - mabye the NOTW changed it a bit after he tweeted?

didn't they say Charlotte was dead ?

Last we heard tonight she 'had a pulse'.

There have been spoilers that Stape tries to turn off her life support machine, so whether she ultimately dies or not is unclear.

Great episode! It didn't feel live at all! Brilliantly done, well done Corrie!

Im still not convinced Peter is going to die, think they wanted to leave it on a cliffhanger.

No way would they let Sally sit there with Molly - We all know why, though - but they should have least given her a safety helmet to wear.

(Beaten to it by Roger Mellie )

Sally would not have been allowed in anyway, she'd be interfering with an ongoing rescue operation and contaminating a crime scene (which it is until they determine the cause of the incident).

Posters on Digital Spy reckon she didn't wear the hat because Sally Dynevor in real life is still wearing her wig from her cancer battle & wearing / removing an hat would muck up her wig. Is that still likely to be right?

By the way, is there anyone that didn't watch the 8pm showing live ie watching via SKY Plus & running so many minutes behind, like we was, as we were watching earlier programmes missed earlier?

Then why leave in the reference to her having to wear one?
