I see the doctor is back, he should become a Corrie regular.

So any suggestions on the 4 deaths ?

Presuably it will be Molly, Ashley, Janice who else ? Charlotte?

Corrie did mention that the doc has signed a new contract with the show

I think
Charlotte, Molly, Ashley and Sunita

I doubt Sunita - more likely to be Dev I would have thought. I'm a bit clueless as to the fourth but I do agree with the other three you mentioned. Perhaps someone like Chris the builder or Cheryl? Or is that just wishful thinking?

I noticed as the preview was shown on thn AT Show just now ... the much criticised "filmic" effect had been added,
although it's not easy to notice when watching the online version via ITV.com or YouTube. Whether this was for
the preview only or on the actual episodes when they're broadcast next week, remains to be seen.

Although I've been one of the many people who have criticised the unnecessary use of the "filmic" effect in shows
where it really isn't needed (Live at The Apollo, Comedy Roadshow and some studio based shows) I do think the
"filmic" effect would suit the Corrie tram crash episodes quite well. As long as ITV aren't using these episodes
to sneak the "filmic" effect in the back door as a permanent thing on Corrie, then it's fine by me.

Really... hmm well they often do it on trailers for Corrie anyway, so it's not necessarily what we'll see on screen.

Did it look like sh!it filmic or good filmic?

Yeah I completely agree. The filmic effect will add to the "dark and gloomy" feel to these episodes I think.

The people who made the trailer need a pat on the back - there've made it look fantastic and the music really bulids the tension. Hopefully the episodes next week will be as great as the trailer!

And it was good filmic effect ( or actually it might just be because it fits with the "tone" of the episodes. Normal episodes don't fit well with filmic look!

Steve Huison, who plays Eddie Windass, has 'tweeted' that he'll be leaving the show in March. Sounds like he was pushed and he's not happy about it:

Quote:
"Seen as the News Of The World will be publishing it on Sunday, thought I'd let you know first that I'll be looking for work come March time."

"Thanks for all the concern. Can't really say much more. I'm sure the NOTW will explain."

"Tbh I'll be glad to get on with things. It's all unreal there anyway. No challenge. I'll miss the money and a few good friends."

Can't say I'm surprised by that news to be honest.

The character has never really gone anywhere.

More strange Liz goings on tonight, she's 'gone to Spain' - so Owen dumped her whilst off screen. Laughing

Exactly why have they brought Jim back - all a bit pointless.

This has been sent out from the ITV Press Office to a number of newspapers in Manchester and surrounding area. This version has been provided for Metro Manchester who are running a special "Coronation Street" edition the week of the tram crash...

Umm, I find it very interesting that that was made by 'ITV Studios Ltd.' at 22:45 on 26/11/10, 3 minutes before your post....
