Except Kim Crowther was behind it Razz

Ah, well - that explains it all then. Mad

I really did not enjoy the Street during her reign. There were only a couple of outstanding storylines and not much else interested me. She ruined the lighting too...!

(I wonder why that problem remains - it still looks really dull and dingy in scenes in the interior sets.)

No mention of Terry Duckworth then tonight, presumably he won't be making an appearance at the funeral.

How old will Tommy Duckworth be now ?

Kim Crowther was terrible, I hated how storyline ran for weeks and weeks on end, and how most of the focus was on one set of characters

That last scene tonight with Peter and Carla was filmed by the enterance to the old Granada reception!

Not sure what everyone else thought, but really liking The Joinery scenes tonight. Seems to be updating the show a little, whilst keeping the Corrie feel. Done a lot better than EE R&R scenes whcih always seem out of place to me.

Based on the scenes tonight ,I hope after the crash that it gets rebuilt( if it gets destroyed to some extent that is) and becomes a permenant addition to the Street.

One other thing. I thought the Joinery opening was suppose to be the tram crash night? I suppose there will be some sort of special event in the Joinery going on on that night so loads of people are invovled.

Yeah might well be - that's the sort of thing I meant Very Happy

Thursday and Friday nights episodes seemed to be very poorly edited, with cuts to the break and end credits (especially Thursday) out of place.

Anyone just catch the 50th Anniversary promo - was really good I thought. Not giving to much away I.e actually showing a slight preview of the crash.( I hate when they do that as it ruins it a bit) but giving you the sense that something "bad" is going to happen.

Nice pun too... on "Four Funerals and a wedding" Laughing

Just came across this on the Corrie site. Suprisingly from this it seems that the Tram Crash episode will be on Monday 6th December and also possibly suggests a 9-10pm timeslot - as surely the ITV2 show would directly follow the ITV1 episode

Quote:
Coronation Street Uncovered: Live, presented by Stephen Mulhern, is ITV2’s official behind the scenes show.

The programme is scheduled to transmit at 10.00pm on the night of the tram crash episode and will bring the programme’s audience closer to the street by providing unprecedented and exclusive access to the wonderful world of Weatherfield on this historic occasion.

The show is looking for Corrie super fans, to be part of a LIVE interactive studio audience, in Manchester on Monday 6th December 2010.
