If the storylines were progressing in real time (ie without skipping months or years) a soap would have to run some 70 or 80 years at least to see a character born in the show and then die of natural causes/old age. It would be a nice touch if this was ever possible. I suppose if Peter Barlow stays in Corrie for another 30 odd years...

Did I read some time ago that there were plans to bring back Susan Cunningham (from episode one)? Or am I confusing this with her and Ken's son and grandson? I can't remember if Susan is still alive.

Speaking of Ken's new son and grandson, I know they were invited as a nice thing to do in the anniversary year, but it never came to much really did it ? Just kind of fizzled out.

I take it they won't be reprising their roles ?

Also, what's happened to Deirdre lately ?

In the new year apparently. I read there would be some evidence that puts some doubt into her conviction, and see her released. Although that sounds highly implausible - but this is soapland.

A re-trial I've read in some papers. What evidence will they suddenly find, to quash the conviction?

Poor idea to bring Tracy back. I used to like the character but I didn't like the decision to turn her into a murderer - since then I've found her almost unbearable to watch.

She is unbearable as an actress. She plays the part awfully and I couldn't stand her scenes back when Gail was in jail. Why she's coming back I don't know.

Susan Cunningham was mentioned a few months ago and apparently she is dead now.

Tracy is supposed to return on Christmas Eve apparently.

the reason tracey is coming back is because the actress wants to come back and not have to wait until 2022

surely they can think of jail related storylines for her as most people who get 15 years for murder aren't usually let off after serving only two years

Kate Ford knocked on Phil Collinson's door and said "I will not wait until 2022, I am coming back now"
