The programme currently being broadcast on Channel 4, Cook Yourself Thin 's opening credits have a small box bottom right saying "Sponsored by Alli" all the way through - is this allowed under OFCOM rules? I thought they had to have short idents/stings before/after the credits/titles?

You can do all sorts with sponsorships that you never used to be able to do. But chances are that this is an advertiser funded programme, in those cases the brand is allowed in the opening sequences.

It being advertiser funded would certainly explain why this programme randomly returned from the dead.
