Watchdog's logo appears to have changed on the frontcap of this video into Reith, however the profile picture is still the old font.

No Reith at all in the programme so far.

I don’t see where they said that they were gonna switch to Reith. There isn’t a need for them to switch to Reith. Yes, it’s a BBC programme, but it’s not produced by BBC News, so there’s no relation.

The video in the tweet posted above features Reith on the graphic, so there has obviously been a Reithed version made however it isn't yet being used.

BBC Reith is for everything on the BBC, not just News!

Everything? I don't think it'll work on the titles of Strictly. Wink

Opening titles no, but closing credits could?

I don't pay that much attention to such things but don't all ITV shows have the same style and font on their closing credits?

Yes, but it's pretty awful having the credits on all their shows look bland and exactly the same, it's much better to allow shows to use their own styles.

I agree. Especially if they are drama series or third-party productions.

It's worse that over the last 19 years they've got blander and blander. At least the original design had a moving background and pictures related to the show, then changed to a blue wavy background, then blue lines, now it's just been a black background for around 10 years. Even if they just had a custom background with the generic font it would make the world of diffeence.

Still a black background but Peaky Blinders has gained more bespoke and distinctive end credits with the move to BBC1.

There are so many different styles of Reith to allow some creativity.

Unlike Reem, which only has regular and bold san-serif versions. No italics, no serifs.
