Contacting people at the BBC

I am thinking of contacting one of the BBC News presenters,

Has anyone written/spoke to anyone from the BBC whether its tv presenters or news reader or whatever

As I said in another thread I have tried contacting people from UKTV but have had no reply but I emailed BBC World once concerning broadcasting in the UK and got a very nice and quick reply.

Yeah, i had an email from Harry Gration (Look North presenter and BBC N6 sport commentator) He is very nice person, very witty in his email.

It's so cool getting emails from them!

Yes thanks I know the address but how many John Smiths are there? and then what does the bbc do when two people share the same name?

What reason did you have for emailing this Sports Newsreader?

when there's more than one person with the same name you add .01/.02/.03 etc etc ... but knowing which one is which is the hard part ... some people have .01 anyway for no real reason - like myself

I've written to a number of presenters in the past and have interviewed Huw Edwards and Michael Buerk. Both were really helpful and said I can contact them again in the future if I need them.

I've written and e-mailed many of the BBC News Presenters, for signed photographs - a selection of which can be seen at TV Home. I want to know what Geeta Guru Murthy's e-mail address is.
