He was always the first choice of Sports presenter at Granada for many years aswell. Though he usually presents the Football on 105.4 Century FM (North West) these days.
She did the UEFA Cup last night, and her next terrestrial apperance will be on Five hosting live coverage of a "natural birth".
She has another UEFA Cup game before then on terrestrial (albeit digital terrestrial) - she is down to introduce the Spurs home game on the 28th of this month on ITV4.
However, given the position at ITV, one can see why she needs to look elsewhere for additional work.

Oh? I thought he left Century about 2 years ago. "The Legends" were doing Saturday afternoons on their own after he went. I left the region just over a year ago so it's possible he's since returned but that's the first I've heard of it.
Last time I saw him was presenting the Waterloo Cup on Sky Sports, but even that was about a year ago now.
Last thing he did to my knowledge was as compare on Ricky Tomlinson's theatre tour, followed by a World Cup nostalgia theatre tour with Jack Charlton et al during this year's tournament.

It seems that the newspaper asked the BBC for a comment about 'Gabby not appearing in SCD' and the BBC replied 'Its a shame Gabby isnt taking part but we have a great selection of celebrities' or words to that effect.
It seems that ITV have got her lined up for their own Dancing on Ice. It makes televisual sense to keep your own people for your own similar programme!
Theyve let Nic Owen go as he would never have attempted Ice skating!
Dancing On Ice is far too dangerous and I think Gabby deep down would have preferred SCD. Personally if I was treated the way she was by ITV I wouldn'tet foot on Dancing On Ice out of principal.
But surely this is a just a tabloid 'story' based on very little detail at all.
ITV have possibly treated her badly with the football - but hey - maybe the idea is to get more people watching ITV4 by putting (what ITV think) is their more valuable presenter on it? There might be some reverse logic in it all!

Well, maybe that's what they told her!
It wouldn't be so bad if she'd been given the Champions League slot on ITV4 - she'd effectively be doing the same job then, just with fewer viewers.
But although ITV now have exclusive right to the latter stage of the UEFA Cup, it's early coverage is basically West Ham matches.

Anyhow, notice they've reverted to the standard Champions League graphics this week after using the generic ITV Sport graphics for the first game of the season.
Also wanted to ask about the interactive service on Sky Digital (ITV's, not Sky Sports).
Firstly, I assume it's still running - and secondly I assume it's just text based rather than with additional video streams.
It wouldn't take much to create a basic interactive service on Freeview just offering a quick and easy way to get stats, score and tables - and perhaps the ability to flick between the ITV1 and ITV4 match too to make it look a little bit more than what it actually is!
