From the Radio Times: ( Quotes in bold made by me )

'The BBC has announced that sattelite viewers across England will soon recieve their regional services on BBC One for the first time. Two-thirds of the country-the NorthWest (Manchester), the North (Leeds), the west Midlands (Birmingham) and the South (Southhampton) ( Not LDN!!!! )-will get this service early in the new year and the remaining regions as soon as possible thereafter. Viewers will select the regional program of their choice from 5 possibilities. The current service carried in regional news lots on BBC1,UK Today, will no longer be needed and will come to an end in January.'

From what everyone said before, the default, non-interactive one, will be London, and therefore you can watch it by not entering the interactive service.

I know it will NOT be on the press red menu.

If you DON'T press red it will be LDN.

But if you DO press red early in January, what will you see on the menu? Not LDN!

Yes, that's what I thought. So what will be the replacement on News 24? Ideas anyone?

But what would be its substitute? An opt out for some promotions or something? Or might they have a special thing exclusive for News 24?

I've just been thinking. Currently, on Telewest Cable Digital, I recieve UK Today on BBC Two at 3.20pm. What will I get? Because BBC2 Digital is not split into the regions for me!
