Hi peeps,
It is such a shame that this magnificent bird is being put to rest so soon. I was at Manchester on wednesday - froze my butt off for hours to get some 50 pictures of her. Still well worth it even if my knees are still frozen and don't work properly any more.
Did anyone else go to an airport to see her for the final time?
I must point out that there are major discussions about concordes' retirement and other related things in the forums at Airliners.net - BTW this is not a shamless plug just directing traffic.

According to The Media Guardian website Media Guardian the BBC Two Concorde coverage (which was produced by News 24 and simulcast on both channels) was the highest rated daytime show on Friday, and got a 42% audience share, with a peak (I think) audience of 4.8m.
