The EPG has probably already messed up for anyone using Sky+. The news update at about 8pm was shown in the EPG as being the 10pm news (i.e the programme that follows this concert) so the recording would have had a gap in it at least.


Its still showing 'News' under 'NOW' on the search and scanner banner.

I don't quite understand what's gone on with the last bit of the schedule... just how complicated is Elton's song?

Ricky Gervais...brilliant.

So it seems there's a technical fault with Elton's performance. Rolling Eyes Typical.

Surely i'm not the only one who was cringing at Ricky Gervais? He clearly was dying a death out there, and he knew it!

Not what I saw. I thought he was really good. I bet he could have gone on longer too.

EPG now scheduling finish at 22.15. I reckon 22.30 - if we get another speech from Princes and VT package of Diana over Elton's Candle in the Wind.

Good on Gervais. I think he time-filled well. The crowd seemed to like his performance immensely, as did the Princes.

BBC 1 South East still shows 10pm finish and South East Today at 10:15 (this will probably change to London News in all regions soon).

Just wondering... when would the helicopter have refuelled, or is there a heliport where they could have done it very close to Wembley? I assume (based on various sources on the web) the flying time is 3-4 hours max...
