Concert for Diana

Thought Lily Allen was awesome just then.Could take or leave any of the rest of the lineup though.

they must be up early in Oz to watch it,

He's singing Candle In The Wind at the end of the concert. It should be a very poignant moment.

She was good but she's more a recording artist - i.e. she can't sing live.

Well, this concert is being beamed to 140 countries worldwide! Its a HUGE event, well supposed to be. Obviously tightened security in the UK at the moment have dampened the atmosphere slightly but I'm sure by about 10 tonight - it'll fill out.

Surely they should have standby Microphones available, this is embarrasing. One of her dancers could take it out to her.

There have been strong "trade rumours" that he'll sing it once again, but nothing definite that I know of.

We'll have to find out when we see.
