Is a US TV ad for McDonalds or KFC so different from a UK TV ad for the same? (I pick those as there was a KFC reference upthread, but there are other examples, no doubt).

Which was shown on BBC Four recently and from the ones I watched it proved rather interesting.

I'm sure Channel 4's The 100 Greatest Adverts still gets shown from time to time.

They're diffrent adverts and probably have some diffrent products, I was thinking more of adverts for foreign products that arn't available here - if they showed an advert for JC Penney or Froot Loops, then that wouldn't be an advert
