Someone earlier mentioned cinemas. Possibly a bit too late for the timespan era of this thread, but Carlton Screen Advertising?
Carlton Screen Advertising was just a rebranded Rank Screen Advertising, after they bought the company in 1996. They've since become Digital Cinema Media.
Anglia TV had a few interesting ventures, Anglia Multimedia made educational CDROMs during the 1990s, and interestingly also owned an advertising agency called Commercial Breaks, I don't know if they ever produced any famous campaigns or just did local adverts, which at the time were normally just a static slide and voice over. Occasionally you'd get a very brief glimpses of a commercial breaks logo between ads,so at the very least they manage their own.
Incidentally there is no truth that either Central Trains or Anglia Railways had any connection to the similarly named ITV companies, despite both using logos remarkably similar to the respective TV companies.
WAGN almost certainly had no connection to Anglia TV either, even though the 'A' stood for "Anglia" and the logo bore some resemblance to the flag...

Cartlton Screen Advertising’s Irish division was sold off separately and kept the name (and fire-themed ident) in Ireland for a good while after the Carlton name had been dumped for films (and tv etc) everywhere else.

I remember Yorkshire Television issuing several educational CD ROM’s back in the mid 1990’s. I don’t think they were related to Schools programmes either.
I know there is a Carlton Books brand too. Having a look at its Wikipedia page it was associated with Carlton Communications at one point but the book arm chose to keep the name. The logo is similar too.
Seem to remember Pearl & Dean was owned by STV at some point.
That was in SMG's expansionist phase - they also owned the (Glasgow) Herald and Evening Times and Virgin Radio.
They also launched s1jobs, s1play and s1homes - which, along with the newspapers, ended up with Newsquest. They seem to have recently launched new local versions (I've seen l1jobs advertised), but their logo is still based on the mid-2000s Scottish and Grampian logos.
Carlton Screen Advertising continued the tradition of fantastic Lambie-Nairn idents. If you didn't see this in the cinema it won't come across as dramatic as it did with a proper sound system, but it still looks great:

Without going too off topic, for me it always used to be preceded by this ident. Both on the big screen with the sound full blast were just epic...

They were renamed Wide Eye Media a couple of years ago.
In the document 'Auditors Resignation' on that page, you can see all the companies that were registered at Anglia House in Norwich - some of which were only wound up relatively recently...
In the 1980s some music from childrens ITV programmes, such as Rainbow, were released on "The Red Bus" label. Was this label owned or connected to Thames, LWT, or any ITV company?
