Well, live as in "on a short time delay" live.

http://www.channel4sales.com/news/news-article.aspx?year=2006&id=8

On E4 in the week beginning 30 January they will be broadcasting "live" death-defying stunts in a new series, Death Wish Live.

Dirty Tricks Jonathan Goodwin will be "Cheating the Gallows" - though if he survives the hanging he'll be buried alive.

The Pain Men Pritchard and Pancho will take part in Animal Attack, while Zamora the Torture King will have a nice relaxing lie down on a bed of nails while a truck drives over him. Pyro Boy will be turning himself into a human firework.

Alex Zane will present the live shows from a secret UK location, with a jury ensembled to pass comment on the nights proceedings.

Unfortunately it appears there is no risk of celebrities being harmed in the making of this programme!

Live hanging? That sounds like the dodgy sort of thing they'd show overnight on ITV1 Wink

There was a trick like that on Good Evening, Ulster about 25 years ago.

Text "Hang" followed by the name of the celebrity you want dead to 81112. Or, if like me, you want the lot hung, text "hang the lot!".

I can see Jade goody on it now:

"People always said I was hanging, now I know what they mean" Very Happy

Don't take this personally, but do you only ever come on TV Forum to quote people's comments and basically tell them what an idiot they are? Looking at the majority of your posts in your profile, it certainly seems that way.

We've been through this before Joe - the only person I think is an idiot is you and you proved that to me perfectly well first time you had cause to criticise a post of mine. Please just ignore my posts in the same way I ignore you.... please don't take this personally! Rolling Eyes

It's a perfectly reasonable question... irony and rhetorical questions aren't easily obvious on the net especially with a neutral smiley such as ' Shocked ' . If I'd gone and said 'of course they're going to rehearse them blah blah blah' then I'd have been criticised by someone because the original poster was joking!
