Coming of age movies?

I was just wondering what people on here think of Coming-of-age films such as Stand By Me, A Bronx Tale e.t.c. as I'd like to see more of them on Sky. Last time we had one was when they showed Get Real at about 3am in the morning a few times. I love films like this [and I'd love it if they ever showed Nico & Dani as it sounds brilliant]

Other great "coming-of-age" movies include Donnie Darko and American Beauty; both being two of my favourite films. However, neither are on Sky at the moment, but I would recommend these two to you very much...
