I watched 1 maybe 2 comic reliefs does fame academy but to be honest i am anti comic relief. I begrudge donating money that could well end up in the hands of the corrupt presidents of Africa, who will then use the money to buy arms to fight there ongoing civil wars. I ask myself ..why since 1985 and the live aid have things not improved over there considering the millions and billions of pounds that have been donated to fund the cause of Africa. I do feel for the real poor African people but until the corruption ends they won't get much from me i'm afraid. I refuse to be brow beaten or emotionally blackmailed into making charitable donations. I have 2 regular charities i donate to and that is enough.
I know you shouldn't use politics as a way of refusing to donate to a worthy charity but i'm afraid the 2 go hand in hand.
I've only watched it properly for the first time tonight but I think they did make the right choice, although Ray had a cold I can't see how his singing could be much better.
As always these shows are a popularity contest, if there is any justice in the world then Trisha & Shaun shouldl be the final two
