I think that's fine as the price rise is for charity, and it is obvious that if you phone up a charity prgramme then some money is going to go charity.

It's gone unnoticed in light of all the premium rate scandals but Fame Academy has broken rangs with the usual 25p charge for BBC phone-ins and doubled up to 50p - though the full 36p profit goes to Comic Relief.

But never quite so obvious that 17.5% goes to the VAT man!

Sorry but can somebody please tell me why we have to put up with her and WHY people LIKE HER?

The BBC Three show mentioned a problem with Saturday's text competition last night. They said that some people may have received a strange reply but they were still entered and the money still went to Comic Relief. I wonder if they would have mentioned this if it wasn't for all the bad publicity around premium rate phone lines recently.

Wonder if this happened by choice:
Girls aloud vs sugababes singing walk this way live (which was very good)
Then a promo for the apprentice with walk this way
and another promo for 'the big one' with walk this way - all back to back. Just strange hearing it starting over and over again lol

Not to mention it's a rubbish song. I know it's the official Comic Relief song but that doesn't mean the BBC have to use it in every single Comic Relief related trailer.

It is a very poor rendition of the song. Surprising as the two groups aren't actually that bad.
At least last year (or the year before?) McFly did a better job with it. Although Amarillo did do a lot better in the charts.

I hope so, but that said, I don't want to be listening to it all summer like the Amarillo phenomenom of 2005.

Have to say, the main thing worth watching this year is Caroline Flack on the CBBC show!
