Well it was up against Stars in their eyes and Ant and Dec, the usual ratings winners whereas on that particular Friday, I have a feeling that it didn't have much competition. Looking ahead at the scheduling, it's going up against the bill on wednesday on thursday so that seems a bit of a death wish, especially as on the wednesday, viewers watching Corrie will be more inclined to stay watching the bill, rather than switch over. That's just my opinion.

The ratings were a little lower then expected but I hope that it will grow to match or even beat the 2003 series ratings wise especially as Red Nose Day draws nearer.
If 6.5m saw the first night result at 9.00pm on a Saturday, how many will wait up for the late night result on Wednesday at 10.40pm and next Friday at 10.35pm one wonders?
