No...and they won't.

Simply because none of us have any footage in our archives barring Jim Edwards at TV World.

The screen grabs on TV Ark were all that could be salvaged from the source tape - no moving footage sadly.

Pitty Jim's site is still down in parts and hasn't been updated.

Where did the 1977 ident footage come from by the way? That did look very clean. Lots of the stuff on the TV Room looks like it's broadcast quality too.

I saw a great trailer for Boxing Day 1983 on TV Room but with a mistake! They actually have the title of the film as 'The Treasure Of Of Abbot Thomas.' How did that get through!?! Shocked

Hadn't noticed that before. Hard to believe it wasn't spotted before transmission.

From a very useful source.

I thought the 1974 BBC Two ident and 1977 BBC One ident provided by Kaleidoscope put all our 1980s recordings to shame, quality-wise.

Yes, didn't they come from N1500 tapes?

There was quite a bit of filmic going on with the idents in this programme too, which always takes some of the magic away. You need that live video feel.

I'd agree with that show them as they were originally shown.
