You mustn't watch the channel much then, it was on constantly.

I shall be honest, I never watched the channel much over the course of the election campaign, to busy with lots of other stuff.

Fair dos, it probably means I watch it too much really.

There is a Summer of stand up Promo running about. There is it would seem a Summer of stand up IDENT aswell.

So far I have spotted two idents and three stings. I would not be surprised if there are more. The regular Comedy Central idents are becoming a rarity with all the special idents for different strands and programmes. When they do have a chance to use them, the cross-channel menus make a lot of appearances. Not really a complaint it makes for good variety!

So the older " 1920" idents used for the Stand up has now gone? The Cross channel menus where only used for daytime weekdays until 6pm, has that changed?

I assume the 1920 idents have been withdrawn, I never actually saw them, but in all my recent recordings The Home of Stand Up idents are airing before all shows. The menus are being used during daytime and overnight. During primetime with the Middle, Stand Up, Impractical Jokers and Friends all having their own set it doesn't leave much room for the regular idents.

Watching the show now. Ross's naration makes it feel more like a Channel 5 clip show than a complete episode. Unlike the Charles original which felt like a commentary of something that was happening before him, this feels more scripted and it's lost a lot of charm. The pacing and the game order feels off too.

It's better than Rebooted but missing something from the original. Funny how most of the game names have been taken from the Challenge version, but some have been changed for example 'Mushroom Trip' has become 'Flying Mushroom'.
