Why oh why is the mediocre Emily Maitlis "reading the questions" on this programme?

I can't say anything else really...I'm shocked - could our Emily be the new Natasha Kaplinsky?

Julian...Research is there for a reason...use it!

Bring back the old variety with Nicky Campbell and those camera spins that sent my head spinning! Yes it may have had a few live glitches with the remote video cameras but it was a hell of a lot more fun than this lottery associated joke!

She's bloody awful. Julian Clary is on form as ever ripping it out of all the guests, but Maitlis is driving me NUTS.

What an awful programme that was - it was better with Nicky Campbell!

Julian was fairly amusing (very cutting and a little close to pushing that watershed door open at times) but didn't seem to cope with the programme terribly well.

It was dogged with technical problems and some bits looked like they hadn't even been rehearsed. Is this best we can come up with for Saturday night TV these days?

The line up either side of Doctor Who seems to be a bit of a farce lately.

Firstly you've got a show hosted by a presenter known for his post-watershed humour hosting a show that doesn't suit him and then afterwards you've got a show hosted by a presenter known for his post-watershed humour hosting a show that doesn't suit him

I thought it was awful. Julian was not suited to this at all. He is much better when he can let his tongue run away with him (erm so to speak!!). It all seemed really badly prepared. Even Eamonn was better than this.... Confused

I'm sorry but Julian Clary is useless on this show. He's like Paul O'Grady - cannot work with a script/autocue! Must be allowed to do his own thing. Also I can't say he's very quick witted either except the odd smutty joke. Confused

What studio does that come from and where does Strictly Dance Fever come from? I think Saturday night on BBC1 would have been perfect if The Two Ronnies Sketchbook was on after Casualty. What is on before and after Doctor Who is crap.

But the thing with Paul O'Grady is at least it's amusing & he admits he's crap. I'm usually a fan of Julian, but this was just embarassing & I totally agree with Andrew's post both Julian & Graham are better suited to the post-watershed shows

Just how awful was TV last night - apparantly Celeb Wrestling was watched by less than 4m.

It says alot when the best thing on TV on a Saturday night (if your not a Doctor Who fan) is an election documentary. Anyone see last night's Election Unspun: What they'll never Tell you documentary last night.

Basically to sort out Britain we need to legalise drugs, abolish prisons, scrap the NHS and have grannies trade travel time with businessmen!
