hope this is in the right place.

anyway why do we never see people on TV with colds.

we see them with broken limbs and crying following the death of a colleague yet we don't see them with colds.

are they imune or something?

This is why I browse this forum only once in a blue moon. Excuse me whilst I sneeze violently.

Isn't it great to see Sgt Boyden from The Bill doing those Kleenexe ads.

Andrew Neil managed to get all the way through "This Week" last night with a very bad throat. At one point I thought his voice had gone altogether, but good on him for carrying on (perhaps he doesn't get sick pay!)

Blah blah blah blah photograh, blah blah blah Pamella, blah blah blah Andrew Neill.

Yes, I'd seen your comment on the newsroom thread Mr Gridiron. There was no need for you to refer to that picture again as Private Eye will have found any number of reasons to print it again next week. Laughing

Dude, you should've called the thread 'How come you never see anyone

It's understandable you might not see presenters with colds (though you often do with coughs), but how come nobody ever really gets a cold in soaps. They only ever visit the doctor if either pregnant before 16 or terminally ill!

Maybe they just stay tucked up at home and wait until there fully recovered.
