The mix in of the world cup promo should have been picked up therefore , if they'd been listening to off - air. As for the subject matter of that item - windfarms and a home grown producer of turbines was of great interest I would have said . It's the late hour of screening that does the damage.

Um... I thought we'd already established that the director was previewing that clip? In which case they'd have been monitoring the audio off that server port - not off-air.

I'm pleased you find the programme engaging, even the late repeat, but I wasn't passing comment on the subject matter myself - merely pointing out that none of the affected DTT viewers phoned the BBC to complain, so they couldn't have been that upset.

I didn't phone myself - a long time since I did. I posted on here as it seems to get through to the people at the sharp end . Wink

Nice thought, but you'd have to go a bit further up the ladder before it reached anyone who mattered Laughing

Surely you're a manager by now, Steve? Management posts are handed out like sweeties at the BBC nowadays. Wink

I was a manager in a former life for long enough to realise that I would now rather peel my own genitals with a pen-knife than become a manager again, in this or any other business!

You could always be a rabbi then. Wink
