CNN's good deed . . .

CNN shared their WORLD EXCLUSIVE live pictures of the then-suspected US attack on Kabul (sent by Sat video phone by Nic Robinson) with the other US networks. This was VERY good of them.

There is actually an agreement between all the networks in America to share pictures of great importance .... sometimes they are embargoed for a short time so the original owner can use the exclusive.

By the way Nicky, I think all those of us who saw it were really impressed with the 60 seconds coverage last night, especially the half-hour programme.

Presumably you'll be doing extra bulletins for some time to come?

It's good that networks can come together so co-operatively at times like this. Good on them.

I know ITN and Sky have been working together. Not sure whether the BBC is working with them.
CNN forgot to take off the CNN Exclusive text though, this was quickly blotted out by a Fox 'Earlier' DOG and a Sky 'Latest Pictures' DOG.
CNN International will be taking CNN US for quite some time to come, I expect CNNI will be returning only at the bottom of every hour, for World News Headlines.
