I have plenty of CNN International presentation, not surprisingly, considering they employed me for a year. I have quite a lot of off screen stuff too. If you're after anything specific I'll be more than happy to upload it/them for you.
Incidentally, while we're on the subject of CNNI, they really need to get rid of that ticker. I'll make a small request

Good luck -- from what I hear, it's a keeper, both on CNNI and CNN/US.

God I HATE the tickers on ALL the US news nets. They're so obnoxious and annoying (especially MSNBC's). It's just another excuse of these 'news' channels to spend less time talking about all the other stuff going on in the world.
Didn't get chance to talk to a friend of mine tonight, I'll try to get around to it tomorrow.
If the tickers are indeed staying then they really need to change it slightly... a lot, actually. CNNI has never been the most wonderfully presented channel, but they seem to be fiercly protective of how it looks. When I so much as hinted to a certain Mr Jim Clancy that CNNI's weather graphics are, and I didn't put it mildly, 'A big pile of sh*te', he didn't take to fondly to it and decided to thrust a load of CNN's achievements down my throat... oops!
Hopefully we'll see some changes to CNN Europe when the new London bureau comes into operation. There should be a lot more content coming out of Europe soon, they're planning to take it the same way as Asia, ie most World News bulletins coming from a region specific location - Europe's would obviously be London, Asia's is Hong Kong, whilst the rest of the world is served by Atlanta.

Jim's a nice guy, but I understand what you mean...<g>
I wouldn't be surprised if quite a bit more content comes out of London. Business Today or whatever the morning European business show is called has been running on both CNN/US & CNNfn for the last few weeks. I got a chance to watch a chunk last night (courtesy of my five-week old daughter), and I like the studio. It's large enough without being overpowering. It won't overshadow Atlanta's (or NYC's for that matter) when being shown on split-screen, but it is impressive in it's own right.
Got round to seeing the new studio today. It does seem quite impressive and a lot better than that shabby little dump they had before. It shouldn't overshadow Atlanta, but Atlanta is in need of a facelift. It certainly couldn't overshadow Domestic's studio - not sure anything could!
There have been plans floating around for a while now to make Europe's World News come from London and London alone, as Asia's come from Hong Kong. I presume with the new bureau that London must now be a full production centre and that from the New Year we'll see a few changes to the European schedules.
Has CNNfn still not been renamed? It must be getting on for at least 6 months since they announced the plans for the rebrand. There's no reason why September 11th should've put back the plans either, they've had enough time to get everything sorted for christ's sake. The website has been rebranded, but the channel stays the same. I think the website was probably only rebranded to bring the different CNN sites under the CNN.com lid. CNN Money sounds like a part of CNN, CNNfn sounds like - and is - a seperate network.
Jim is a nice guy, and if my memory serves me rightly is somewhere in Afghanistan, could be Pakistan. After Riz left I think Jim's now the chief World News anchor, although Atlanta have a worrying fondness for Zain Verjee, I was told off for telling the Q&A producer that she's 'awful' and 'half-asleep'. Only the truth...

The most recent announcement (which was pre-9/11) was that CNNfn would become CNNMoney in late first quarter 2002. Since 9/11, indications have pointed more to a March change, although they have tried to stay close to the vest with it. I would guess that they probably won't change before the new NYC studios are ready; they claim that they don't want to have too much on the plate at once. The biggest reason for the change in name and repositioning of the brand is to tie closer to consumers as opposed to purely business users.
The name change is also tied to a corporate synergy between divisions. The brass have been VERY pleased with the results with CNN/Sports Illustrated (both on air and online) and even before I left there (late '99), there were hints that CNNfn and Money (and possibly Fortune as well, although that seems to have fallen by the wayside) would combine online and on air operations.
Changing topics, and back to the remodel, the main Atlanta studio was completely overhauled in '98-'99, with minor alterations in 2000; don't look for a major change in the newsroom for a while yet -- especially since the major construction for Headline News this past summer. International's newsroom got a minor touchup in '99, and SI has not been touched since their launch in '96, so I would guess that those two newsrooms would be next, after the New York launch.
