And it is about time Europe woke up and stopped going over to US from 12 to 4pm, as if nothing ever happens in Europe at that time!

I would rather to see a European programmes to replace Morning Call PowerLunch U.S.

As for the new look. Wow is amazing! Cool

So will we see consequent changes to CNBC Europe? Only really CNBC Europe Squawk Box and Power Lunch Europe tie-in with the US brands any more, so maybe they will just go their own way.

For those in the US - the CNBC Europe Squawk Box titles are almost indentical to CNBC Squawk Box's used before Friday, but have competely different music, and the word "EUROPE" flies in between the CNBC logo and "Squawk Box" title at the end. CNBC Asia Squawk Box uses identical title sequence to CNBC US, but with CNBC Europe's music. Presumably both of these will need changing if Squawk's logo has changed...

Oh P.S. Tell me the music hasn't changed...

Looks like everything has changed, new music, new graphics, new programme logos in addition to the new studio. CNBC Europe for some reason at about 2.15 dropped their ticker and markets bar on the right, and you got a view of the new U.S. version, which now had a different font I think, and is a bit brighter. Looks very good indeed.

NBC spent $163million and spend 4 years planning the Global Headquarters for CNBC. If you've not seen pics of its. Its beyond impressive. In some respects it may be over the top. But in the realm of digital broadcasting, this is the cutting edge. The Set/ Newsroom its absolutely massive. That is the only word to describe it. One side is a huge set consisiting of a huge "studio space" It contains 6 sets that continuously flows into each other. Most are 2 story. And the video wall they had, has been "broken up. Its placed in various areas. This all faces a huge 2 story newsroom. NBC never does a crap job when it comes to their on air look. Everything they do is top class. The lighting is always perfect. The colours of the set reflect the colourful ness of the NBC peacock logo....as it should. I say well done NBC for giving CNBC the facility they deserve. They new graphics are very colourful and punchy. I having a feeling they will not come to Europe. As they doing the EU/UK updates they still used the CNBC EU graphics and they are definetly more sombre than the new US graphics....I dont think the Europeans will go for the livelier graphics. THe new tickers is much better. cleaner clearer and nicer.

Really impressive. Completely different to what's come before...

Poor CNBC Europe... they change the Hotboard graphics to match US... then US change them again! CNBC Asia (and CFN-CNBC) are still using the ye olde ones with the green strip down the side.

It'll be Closing Bell before I see the new look, but those shots look good!

That is just the morning call bit, the squawkbox section looks completely different.

Sadly we are stuck with CNBC Europe for the next little while... I wish there was a way to get CNBC US in the UK.

The main set which you have included screen shots of is acutally facing the SquawkBox Set. Which is off to the right. They are directly facing the Wake Up Call set. In fact its the exact same desk. I'm assuming they spin it around and then that will give the analysts room to walk around and point the screens when discussing the stocks and such. CNBC now has completely different camera work as well. They have liberally applied the use of BOOM cameras and steady cams. I dont think I've ever seen steady cams used that much ever anywhere. It can be sickening if they use it too much. On Squawk Box the Steady Cams constantly swirled around the desk from all angles. The sets are extremely dynamic. They are literally hundreds of Shooting angles. Keeping the on air look fresh and new.

I noticed that during Squawk Box - the cameras were flying everwhere! Although I think the controllers where over enthusiastic as they were always panning over in front of the fixed cameras.

Overall from what I have seen, I like. I think that everything works in well together. The design of the sets will allow them to last for a while and having so many video screens, these can be updated - although I suppose they expect that when spending $100m+ on the building!

I suspect that after the "newness" wears off some, they wont be using as many steadycam shots. But I image the use of the boom camera will continue. With the massive ceiling heights in the studios they will have the room to fly the camera all over the place. Fox News does this. MSNBC does this and so does CNN US to some degree. This have become the latest on-air toy. Plus it keeps the look fresh and breaks up the boring steady shots. PLus this adds a bit of action into the broadcasts. CNBC purpose was to make it like a Sports broadcast for Money news. That is why they were so popular. Their ratings have suffered along with economy, and frankly I dont think a new home will draw viewers, but its nice too see them in a new home. I think keeping your on air look fresh is very important and this was the best way to do it. I had a good feeling that NBC was going have sweeping changes across the whole of CNBC US. They would never building a new headquarters and keep the same graphics. NBC doenst work like that. Its always keeping up with technology and graphics and latests in everything. Sue Herrea (sic) must be very proud. She is the original network launch anchor and the reigning Queen of Business News.

Absolutely gorgeous! The new look is amazing - colourful, modern, hi-tech and fun. Easily the best set design I've ever seen, and I like what they've done with the graphics too.

Just seen the Closing Bell title sequence... and oh dear god. All those circles, and words flying about, and flashing colours. Looked like something psychedelic from the 1960s. Totally different to what came before, and what CNBC Europe still has. I have a strong feeling CNBC Europe will not be adopting these graphics - they are far too downmarket and flashy... The voiceover "CNBC's Closing Bell with Maria Bartiromo" is now gone, which is a good thing as Ted David is presenting today - and also means hopefully that over the top Business Centre voiceover (toned down recently) will be gone too.

All that lowercase, and blue and yellow.... rather tasteless IMO

On the plus side, the astons are rather good and the Hotboard graphics (with all the CNBCs flying in the background) are good. The music is also good, but does not have the recognisable theme that the previous music (which I will miss!) had.

Overall...brill set, nice astons and graphics...terrible title sequences and logos.
