I`ll just begin by saying I think the actual programmes on CNBC Europe are excellent and well produced.
But it is the transmission of the channel which I find sloppy and appauling. For instance, I was watching NBC Nightly News on Sunday night, and it was sligthly extended at the end so a brief update could be included to update the news on the California wildfires. Except that viewers on CNBC Europe didn't get this because it was cut off by a CNBC Europe bumper, before going off to some crappy infomercials which they hardly get any money from anyway.
I guess as it was weekend they can be forgiven as they most likely run on automation over the weekend.
But this happens during the week when they are fully staffed as well. Even though they have dirty feeds of CNBC US, MSNBC, and NBC network, they should be able to do better when having to cover up US adverts and sponsorship.
Often during the week as well as at weekend, the Nightly News also gets trimmed off at the end, it really is sloppy. They also don't opt-in to MSNBC properly when its in the schedules, so you miss the headline sequence and also part of the opening of the first story.
