CNBC Europe set

I was watching CNBC Europe earlier this afternoon around the time that U.S. Squark Box was on, and I am sure that I noticed that Simon Hobbs from CNBC Europe was sitting in part of the newsroom (from where the Europe updates into U.S. programmes come from).

It looks as though the decorators have almost finished in the newsroom. I noticed a wall 'freize' of the CNBC ticker and a banner in the background with the CNBC 'peacock' logo on it.

I recently sent an e-mail to CNBC Europe, and was told on the 30th August that they hoped that the changes would be seen in the next few weeks.

My guess is for Monday 24th September (I hope!!!)  Does anyone have any ideas as to when we will see the redesigned studio, complete with the newsroom as well?

I know what you mean - I think I saw it myself yesterday. CNBC US did an interview with someone in London about the European markets, and I remember thinking that it looked like they were in the CNBC Europe newsroom.

They must be using the slowest decorators in the country - it's taken them almost 3 months to do whatever they're doing!

And it's apparently going to take another 3 months...
