Back in the good old days when the announcer was in NC1 Con and the weatherman* was just down the corridor in Pres A it wasn't unheard of for the announcement to contain a little bit of banter - not in the Levy and Hudson league of course, but the anno might have made a remark about the weather which Jack Scott, Jim Bacon et al would pick up from.
