Sore loser is the phrase that comes to mind - most other sports have seen their commentary line up change in the last 20 years, so why not snooker too.

I am sure the other commentators who lost their jobs over the years would take exception to your comment.

Oh, sorry I just read your sig - I see nobody is allowed to voice a counter-opinion to yours. Oh well,..........tough.

In any other career it's perfectly acceptable to be retired at 65.

Garbage. Do you just make it up as you go along?

Enforced retirement is by no means considered, "perfectly acceptable" - and was the subject of a documentary just this week.

Maybe when Brekkie gets to retirement and finds himself being forced to retire at 68 he'd consider it "perfectly acceptable". Because I think he'd be the first to complain.

Brekkie's other comment suggests change for the sake of change. Now again I'd argue if he was to be kicked out of his current job for being too old but with experience, yet he was replaced by a 21 year old dimwit who can't hold a pencil the right way round yet actually write anything with it, would Brekkie jump up and suggest "most other businesses have changed their core staff in the last 20 years, why should my old company be any different?" I think not.

I wouldn't pay any attention to that. We all know Brekkie makes it up as he goes along anyway Wink
