Cliff Morgan has died

Sad news today that former Welsh rugby international Cliff Morgan has died. Of course, following his rugby career, Morgan went to become a respected commentator, and subsequently a producer and Head of Sport and Outside Broadcasts for the BBC, during a time in the 1970s and 1980s when BBC Sport was in its heyday.

He'll surely always been remembered for this moment in 1973:

Totally agree. Like his BBC colleague Bill Mclaren, they're not remembered for their gift to the game playing, but for their gift to the game in voice. A true broadcasting great, sadly missed.
