Yeah 1 or 2. Mind you I have been a Who fan since I was a kid and Peter Davison was the 1st Doctor I can really remember, remember bits of Tom Baker. Speaking of whom I see Robot is released tomorrow. Laughing

I picked up Robot after work today. Woolies £2 cheaper than HMV Shocked usually HMV cheaper by 1 or 2p. Anyway not to impressed with the extras. Maybe Im being picky, I only picked up The Three Doctors at the weekend and was quite impressed with the extras on there.

Funnily enough, I was watching that a minute ago. An extra on many Doc Who DVDs are old clips of Blue Peter, from the John Noakes and Peter Purves era.

We've been so spoilt for extras on other discs that we expect loads each time, I think it's also a case of what's available.

The actor who played the Brigadier (Nicholas Courtney) worked with all 7 of the original Doctors.

As a footnote to that...

Nicholas Courtney never starred with the 6th Dr (Colin Baker), neither as the Brigadier nor as anything else, in the 6th Dr's own era (1984 - 1986).

Nick & Colin only appeared together in Dr Who in a non-canonical, strictly-for-charity short Dr Who "skit" called Dimensions In Time , in 1993. This was the only time that the 6th Dr ever met the Brigadier on telly.

Say it's non-canonical in your opinion.

Oh,the arguments caused by continuity issues! Laughing

My understanding has always been that it's definately non-canonical, owing to the narrative not even making much sense within itself (let alone how well/badly it tallies with the continuity of the original 26-year series). Confused

So, I didn't say "in my opinion" in my previous post because I genuine believed (and still do) Dimensions In Time to be officially non-canonical. Confused So, don't jump down my throat! Razz

People may want to judge for themselves...

Pre-show intro with Jon Pertwee (http://youtube.com/watch?v=WRpINGZvfhk - wonder if Noel really will still be on our screens in 2010.

Ah but if Dimensions in Time is canonical, that means EastEnders is 'real', at least within the Whoniverse, which jarrs with the Doctor watching EastEnders on television in Army of Ghosts.

Some comments on that from both sides in the Wikipedia article linked to above. Not least the fact that both Pauline and Kathy were gone long before 2013.
