CITV on Saturday Afternoons

Noticed that CITV is now on Saturday afternoons as well. Today from 1:30pm - 4:20pm, is this a new strand or a one off ? Is it to make up for the Premiership pinching the slot at 9:25am on Sunday.

Its on next week too.

Yep, it's permanent, it's the 'CiTV Saturday Matinee'.
I wonder if they'll use different idents?

Now why BBC One can't split up Saturday afternoons and put on CBBC from about 2:00pm to about 4:30pm is beyond me. I'm sure lots of children are bored on a Saturday afternoon, especially if it's fowl weather outside.

Well why would they, they're committed to Grandstand.

Erm, the fact a lot of sport goes on during a saturday afternoon and will continue to do so??! [Just ask ITV, hah, doesn't work in the evenings guys... ] I wonder if Des will make any wise-crack tonight at 10.30?

Besides, it'll be a plus point for plugging the new CBBC channels on digital.

They're using ITV1 idents, yet they're still using the CiTV dog. Weird!

I didn't think the cable companies had an EPG that told you what was on for the week ahead?

Only if you've got TeleWest, yeah...

We got normal ntl and have the week long epg.

I only get ONE DAY!

Mike- are you sure you're using the TV Guide menu, not the now/next banner? I think you're on telewest. if you are, press TV guide and go into at a glance and it has 7 day listings.
