I believe Christmas 1998 was the last time CITV showed Tiny Toon Adventures, obviously hugely successful for them earlier in the decade (I have a trailer from 1993 of them pointing out it was one of the top 3 kids shows at the time). They mention it was on every morning- presumably the rights ran out at the end of the year so they crammed as much in while they still had them!

Recently resurfaced on Cartoonito (along with Tom & Jerry kids and A Pup Named Scooby Doo). Not that it's the right channel for any of those three shows, but at least it's back on UKTV, which is something seeing as we never got the DVDs over here!

There also seems to be a different phone number in one of the videos- this I think was used at least until about early 1999, as the normal 090 11 105010 was in place by that point:

Also in one of the videos, after Stephen went in front of the credits of the movie The Snow Queen and performed a magic trick via green screen, they got quite a few complaints apparently, so they stopped doing that a little afterwards.

They used 0894 123344 with the May relaunch. I presume that the number changed when codes changed for TV competitions to use 09 numbers. 09011 10 50 10 is remembered the most. They did change around 2002 to 0901 0707 123. Adding the jingles really worked to help you to remember. I'm sure that the text number was 0781 801 4000 as I mentally recall a jingle.

Yup, they did change the number in August 2001 again, here's bit of pres of when the number was only just changed:

They kept that jingle they did for the new number until about 2002, and after that the presenters just said it normally, until Swag Bag came along in 2003 with another new number which I can't remember at all, but it did now have a jingle.

Swag used the same number 0901 0707 123 for Bag the Swag. There was a different number brought in for Swagtaclaus for kids to call and leave answer phone messages before Christmas.

Stephen at the start of that clip demonstrating how good he has reacting to problems, I never realised that he had developed this presenting style back then. I know some don't like him, but I think he's a brilliant presenter especially for live programmes.

I find it funny when I see people saying how much they dislike him now. When he presented CiTV, to me he came across as the most experienced presenter compared to Danielle and Tom (I didn't know at the time that Tom hadn't been there as long as the others) and I used to love watching the Quick Trick Show.

Watching him on Britain's Got More Talent and Catchphrase though he does seem to come across as a bit smarmy in a way he never did in the CiTV days. I can't come to hate him though like some do because I know I enjoyed what he did in the past. In a way we've almost grown up with him on ITV!

I knew there was something funny about that Cuthbery Lilly guy... It would explain his fashion choices!

Does anyone remember the 10th anniversary they did in 1993 on CITV? There seems to be absolutely nothing of it anywhere online, but for it, if I remember correctly, there was this family who were obsessed with CITV and had documented all of it so far and showed clips in between programmes, so they just set up a living room set that they did links in for about a week and that was it really.

If that's the Gogglewatch thing- it was in 1995 and has already been mentioned in this thread!

Actually, I think they did use the Goggles for that, but I think they were different actors to when they were bought back in 1995 and changed the premise a little bit as well, from a family that's obsessed with CITV to a family that's obsessed with all TV shows. But I am certain that they did use them in 1993 for the 10th anniversary.
