Not sure how anyone can believe that seeing as they released 12 episodes of the UK version on DVD around 10 years back. So at the very least those 12 survive with relevant paperwork. And a few years back that Jim Henson themselves posted (broadcast quality) clips from other supposedly "wiped" episodes on YouTube. There seems to be a LOT of misinformation when it comes to the TVS archive.
Its believe Fraggle rock tapes are deffo wiped.

I don't know if anyone has any footage of this, but Finders Keepers was made as mini 15min celebrity editions that were inserted in MotorMouth around 1992. I remember Timmy Mallet being one of the celebrities, if I recall the Celebrity helped raid 4 rooms?
Edit:
didn't take long for me to find it
This edition at 1hr 8m has Daniella Westbrook and Andy Crane as the Celebs.

Your right here, plus it seem Henson might have only the UK snippets, The strangest thing of all time is both TVS and Fraggle rock belong to Disney now.

I don't think that's true. I know Disney own the rights to The Muppets, but I don't think they own other Jim Henson stuff.

I remember hearing about that aswell. It was shame but CITV was always the first to get the chop. I dont believe Scratchy & Co was ever live , while Tricky also sure was pre-recorded aswell. Mind you Fully booked was always pre-recorded until it changed to FBI.
I asked about that a while ago, and somebody claimed it was live because cue dots popped up before the breaks. But I still call BS because I can't fathom how on earth they managed to dub Reg over live with the deep voice, unless they worked some magic on his mic feed but it sounds far too clean. The first series was definitely pre-recorded - the clip further back in this thread has Scratchy previewing what's on next week but can't refer to the shows by name, just "this", indicating they shot the links before they organised any schedules.
I remember reading the reason WOW was axed was because ITV had spent a fortune getting the Formula 1 rights, so they cut the Saturday morning budget to pay for it- so we got cheap to make stuff like Scratchy & Co, Tricky and Mashed for the next 2 years before SM:TV began.
