It will be a shame to see the two go. I wonder if Lan Jam will ever return, with Leah presenting. It is a bit strange for Leah to leave, though perhaps she doesn't want to carry on without Michael. I now hope that the ministry will be successful, else they have split up a perfect partnership for nothing.

It will be interesting to see who they bring in, if anybody. Will they be totally new, like Tim was last year, or will they be from somewhere else, perhaps some people of CiTV shows, like Kate & Ana who guests presented in the summer.

Another note to make. Bernard's Watch is returning with a new bernard. Will be interesting to see what they do with it.

I thought Bernard's Watch ended a couple of years ago, when he moved to America, but I think he came back or something like that.

Theoretically they're copying Woof, when the kid got old they changed kid and they changed the dog, but this only worked once as the original Grey Dog / Woof was very popular so was the reincarnation of it and he became the white dog, but when that kid grew up, it was passed onto another person, but he was crap and I recall it only lasted for one series. That would be cool if Woof came back, but CiTV must be running out of ideas if they're carrying on with BW with a different kid.

I only know because Michael said it was coming back, and they had a clip of the new actor playing Bernard saying Merry Christmas. It started as a one off friday afternoon play, and then was commissioned into a series.

It was nice of Michael to mention the Ministry of Mayhem, and even mention that he would be there with Stephen Mulhern and Holly Willowbe (sp?).

Well on Boxing Day both the Sabrina special and the Busted special are scheduled in 35 minute long slots, so there must be some sort of presentation? Maybe Michael will appear, did he actually specifically say this was his last appearance...?

I wonder what trailers and idents they will use as its all been based around 'Everyday till Christmas' and 'Christmas is coming, One Day to Go' etc.

The post-christmas CITV looks a bit poor this year, remember that year they had a live show where presents could be swapped, and of course its almost 12 months ago since the Birthday Bash

They didn't say it was their last day. They were saying that they will be leaving. And then they said to each other that it has been a pleasure to work together. So most probably they will be on air, but maybe not together. It would be nice if thery had a big leaving thing. I suspect they will when the new people are revealed.

Perhaps what they should do is something like what fully booked did before their 1998 relaunch. When Tim, Chris & Gail joined, they had the trailer with "Fully Booked returns with not one, two, but three new presenters, but who are they?" with otis coming saying "I know who they are!". Perhaps they could do this with the new presenters behind white screens rear lit, and have swag do the same.

It's a shame we won't get a christmas is here. Although if you include the 12 days, then they could use 'Christmas is magic, christmas is here!'.

It is a mess. Back in 1999, they had CiTV every morning running up to christmas eve, every morning with a film into the afternoon. They had the Christmas Special SM:tv live on christmas day. And were live on Boxing day afternoon for around 4 hours with two films. This was Tom & Andrea's first proper day presenting. And I will remember it for when Stephen & Dannielle introduced the premier of 'The Fairies', and turned around as they would to watch the monitor, but infact stodd staring at the christmas tree!?!

I wonder why itv1 are being so cruel with time this year. There's usually a set routine, and they're always on christmas morning either before or after the church service!

Is anyone the least bit suprised that programme (called wanted.com BTW) isn't on any more? It was hardly the nicest idea for a programme to be shown the day after Xmas. Chances are they got a load of complaints from parents.

Well there's been a cockup with these early morning CITV slots. When they were putting them together they seem to have got the day wrong as they were a day behind again. The fact that the tv day runs from 6am-6am might be the reason. Today at 5.55am they advertised Xmas Eve CITV from 9.25am and said 'One Day to go' when in it was Christmas Day already!

That's still not right though, as on christmas eve you wouldn't advertise shows for christmas eve. You dont see like pop idol being advertised as yesturday on itv1 on a sunday night!

With them doing the one day to go business, it's as though they are putting the show out for people who haven't gone bed yet. When in reality due to the programming, its for people who have just woken up!

wanted.com was back in 2001, but in 1998, dannielle and stephen hosted live on boxing day morning with Chop & Change day. Which was basically the same principle. Except they did it live from the studio with other presenters in the Carlton Central West Phone Room and outside the building. I quite liked it, even though it wasn't a good idea straight after christmas, but swap shop did it, so why couldn't CiTV? It was better having in 1998 style with Dannielle and Stephen handing over to others whilst also reading out requests for items and stuff from the studio, rather than handing it over to another company!

I know I've said this before, but I think it's better when kids shows are shown just with normal ITV1 wrapping when they're outside their usual weekday afternoon/weekend morning slots, just like today.

Yes this morning was a bizzare one. The announcer actually introduced the shows this time "Now on ITV1 its Meg and Mog" for example. This also meant the Sabrina credits were played in full

I'm shocked that Leah's leaving! Perhaps they've found better new presenters or getting rid of presenters all together (likely)?

Rani only just left Nick, perhaps she's going to be a new presenter on CiTV?

these 4am (ish) showings of boobah and the like ... are they tx-ed from central, as they've been preceded by citv idents/trailers and are in 14:9 - or are they being tx-ed from lwt?

i would have thought if they were coming from lwt, then they'd have been put on the server in 16:9 Confused
