Noticed that last weeks CD:UK only had one stage, even the hotshots review used it. Is this a sign that something is happening to the set?

I expect that we will see some change to cd:uk, especially to the set, as they will be able to use SM:tv's bit of the set also. They seem to section it off at riverside, where at london they just had the same layout, which was familiar. Is the riverside studio smaller than their london studios one?
I hope if they are changing the set, I hope they change the stages to, perhaps create an actual set rather than stages and monitors that can go anywhere.

Hopefully in line with changes to saturday mornings, we may see a new look cd:uk to go along with it. I hope so, the current set of graphics have been in use since september 2001. The shortest lasting ones, in my mind were the best. They were original and had a purpose, the brackets replaced sound, and then formed the circle in the logo, as supposed to the one now which is just graphics that represent sound in a way, and the 1999-2001 set that used the space globe thing and flew round a maze of guests and presenters.

Maybe, if the ministry of mayhem is popular, they may consider putting cd:uk into another slot, maybe prime time, or sunday night at 6pm, so that they can be accurate with the chart, and instead of cd:uk, have a music programme (not based on the charts) thats named and in connection with the ministry of sound.

It's just an idea.

Which year did they have the Nickelodeon logo on top of a Christmas tree, with the camera panning down to reveal Nicktoon characters giving each other presents under it?

I'm suprised no-one else has mentioend this, but I noticed last week that one of the trailers for CITv Xmas had a CITV1 logo (The CITV C with the ITV1 logo after it), does this mean some of the CITV Xmas shows will go out with just normal ITV1 pres (And proper aspect ratios for 4:3)?

They are for films during the day throughout the festive period. So some are children's films, but are all family films.

So ITV got their main network logo into Scotland and UTV-land after all, in the CiTV slot. There's surely now no way UTV can cover it up...

Just seen a trailer for the last ever SM:TV. They are using the current set, though iy looks like it is being trailed as SM:TV Live, not Gold. The set they're doing Challenge Ant on looks very good. A stage with a video wall beind it. Looks like something that should be incorporated into CD:UK. Still no sign of anything to do with Ministry of Mayhem yet.

they have it bang on kids tv taken seriously but not takeing them selves seriously, all down to there in house producer and presenter all deserevs to be on national tv, so much better than those awful citv and smtv presenters...how does the citv rights come up because if they did channel should take it up as they seem to be the only itv region who care about there local young viewers...

Better than Ant, Dec and Cat? Better than Michael & Leah? I have seen him, he is quite entertaining, but Michael & Leah are doing a wonderful job. The production team at Carlton are incredible at what they do. They may not get it right all of the time, but they have been at it for years (minus the stonewall era), and are great at what they do. I don't think channel have the facilities at the moment.
