"Whatever happened to Fluffy?" - Angelica's cat in the first run

I think that ought to be obvious! 10 years are meant to have passed, 10 years is around the average lifespan for a cat-. Work it out for yourself.

Actually, I beg to differ as our own cat is over 100 years old (in cat years anyway, or 14/15 human years) now and our previous one died at the age of 18 human years.

Anyway, I was trying to illustrate a point. I could have done it better I suppose...

I'm glad, and hope it won't be back! At least not until a new series is ready. I can understand testing the water, but this is just madness. They need more original programming.

Yes, I aggree. They went well overboard. They only needed 1 or 2 eps a week and finsihing it after its first run. 4 eps a week is too much for a series that only has 13 episodes, and continuing past its first, second, third & we're now in the forth run means people will be sick of it.

And they want to launch an everyday channel with this kind of stuff going on in a 105 minute slot.

I'm annoyed at my Mum now. We wnt into town, I was hoping for about half an hour but my Mum insisted on spending ages looking round M&S, Debenhams, Woolworths and the like, so I missed TAB- literally had just finished as I put the TV on, so now I've missed the last chance to see them for at least 3 weeks (and that's if CITV put it back on after Xmas).

Wouldn't be any different to any other of the kids channels would it? Cartoon Network, Boomerang, Nickelodeon, NickToons TV and the like all suffer from chronic repeats syndrome- made even worse by bad scheduling ATM- only a few shows in the schedule, the most "popular" (which in thier terms is "recent"- esp cartoon network, I don't believe there's an out of production show in their schedules. IMO the best CN & Nick cartoons are the older ones from the 1990s (including the early RugRats, around the time they made the movie it went downhill)) shown most often- look how much RugRats is shown on Nick Toons, and how much Nick relies on Sabrina.

Cartoon Network was much better, even in 2000. They had a lot more programmes from all eras. Even after Boomerang Lauched, CN still continued to show the Boomerang shows, but around 18 months ago they stopped- the fact that CN doesn't show anything that's on Boomerang or Toonami means their schedule is very dry. Programmes were not shown more than 2 or 3 times a day, now some shows can be on 5 or 6 times a day. They need to being back the Boomerang & CNX/Toonami shows as well as the older CN Cartoons. Maybe then they could have a much better schedule.

It was the arbor day (april 25th), and american football eps (as shown on episode 3 of SM:tv Live back in 1998).

Also cd:uk dropped the live record shop link up after two weeks. The third week didn't feature it and neither any of the following. Though it was a good idea as it used the fact that it was live, and was based on the chart. Infact they used to say that it isnt the official chart, and the only way to change it is to go out and buy the records.

I'm still not used to the CiTV christmas pres. It just isn't making me as festive as they usually do.

I know what AB eps they were- I do read the schedules (LOL). I am annoyed that I missed them though.

Technically CD:UK is the ofiical charts- well, it's the sales up until close on Friday- the official charts are close on Saturday. CD:UK are generally quite accurate, though they do get it wrong sometimes (I remember when Ricky Martin was number 1 back in 1999, for 2 out of the 3 weeks he was there the CD:UK number 1 was something different- I remember one week it was 5ive, can't remember the other. Even the other week, they said Shane Ritchie was Number 1).

CD:UK was definatly better in the early days. I used to like the pop desk where Ant & Dec used to read the news sitting as a desk like News Presenters with a Gong in the middle they used to hit between stories. Ant & Dec alway used to have a bit of fun on the show, it's a shame that after they left it became a bit too serious.

Interesting trailer at the end of CiTV today. It began and ended with the itv1 logo on top of the CiTV christmas background, with the CiTV 'C' outlined in red to the left of the logo, it was advertising all of the films on itv1 over christmas, including doug's 1st movie, the grinch, tomorrow never dies, turner & hooch and a polar bear one.

Well I'm liking "Now its time for Swagtaclaus to give away some presents". Tommorow according to Leah Michael Underwood is presenting, the first time since CITV went festive.

Notice how they are advertising it all as 'Everyday till Christmas', because after Boxing Day it all goes pear shaped without a proper CITV section

Nickelodeon have by far got the best christmas look with the 5 presenters in turn with a festive orange studio and with gitars saying "Christmas Rocks!".

All That is actually a spin-off of Roundhouse.

You think so? I liked last year's better... and, oddly enough, they still appear to be being used as the main items of presentation - they are playing on the screens in the L8R studio, the snowman is being used as a clock, and the "cracker" ident has been chopped into two bits, which have been placed either side of their celebrity christmas messages Shocked

I haven't seen this years yet. And I don't think I really remember last years.

Swagtaclaus is good, but I'm not much for the graphics compared to last year and the flying up the tree ident. And they haven't got a slot after boxing day? Or are their spots everywhere?

Why can't they have just done the usual where as from the monday before christmas CiTV moves to the mornings for the two week period until kids are back at school, and sometimes have afternoon slots (as they are doing for two days next week. It seems as though since september the scheduling of CiTV slots and the programmes inside the slots has gone all to cock, I don't know why, but things like scheduling all grown up so many times including a double bill, moving shows around (such as globoloco) to accommodate for others.

Nick Xmas Idents:
2001 - The screen flies around a bleak, snow-covered, orange-skied landscape with weird floating green trees and red hearts, before a big fridge door slams on the whole thing, with "Merry Xmas" spelled out in coloured fridge magnets on it. (There were various lengths of this ident - a 30 second version was frequently used!)
2002 - Various christmas items (there were six varients: snowman, christmas tree, cracker, roast turkey, snowflake, christmas pudding) whizz around the screen with christmas music playing in the background. Then, the items start to crackle and fizz, as does the music, before the item explodes, and the Nickelodeon logo crashes onto the screen.
2003 - A - The L8R presenters stand on a stage, playing a musical instrument (rock style), and say "Christmas Rocks" in a really stupid tone of voice. B - The L8R presenters muck around on the stage, and the voiceover says, "You're Watching Christmas on Nickelodeon".

Yeah, I know, I'm sad for remembering all of this Embarassed

Merry Christmas!
