Perhaps it has been scheduled, thus why the series started three weeks ago. I'm still not that impressed by this years CiTV pres, though at least it feels magic with the orbs and the music.

I don't know why, but it seems as though every one has given up on christmas presentation this year, and has gone to no effort at all compared to previous years. Perhaps it's just the fact that I'm getting older and don't feel festive anymore.

Award so far for best Christmas presentation effort goes to Dick & Dom. They had their titles re done, music re done (including lyrics), had da bungalow covered in decorations, and had all graphics with bits of christmas on them.

Uned 5 on S4C have gone all out aswell - music, graphics and the house has been decorated. Strange as both shows are very similar in premise - although Uned 5 is a somewhat more mature version of Dick and Dom Laughing .

I'm surprised at CiTV's Christmas pres. this year. Given that they're supposedly aiming at younger kids from now on, the idents etc. they've had in the past would be more suitable!

I wouldn't say I'm surprised, I think I was expecting more. Its very ambient, and there's no tune to it, just that background music and the whispering voice. It's all very nice, But give me the flight up the tree, or last years ice skating (amongst other) idents.

So you were surprised, then? Confused

Looks like after this week there's no more All Grown Up or Angry Beavers for as far as the schedules go. Hopefully the Angry Beavers will be back after Xmas (though not All Grown Up- we're already on the 4th run of it! It's Nick that should be endlessly repeating it, not CITV).

I'm glad, and hope it won't be back! At least not until a new series is ready. I can understand testing the water, but this is just madness. They need more original programming.

I was watching All That this evening and was wondering why the hell CiTV aren't picking it up.

They mentioned that Britney Spears sister is in All That on SMTV a few months ago. It's very kiddie-ish and fun - it'd be perfect for CiTV.

Anyway, with the CiTV christmas - give me leah naked wrapped in only tinsle around some parts of her body. I couldn't give two hoots about this CiTV christmas identing - its crap.

Re: All Grown Up:

Quick gander at Nick.com, the site for Nickelodeon in the USA, reveals american viewers of this show are really quite wierd:

Actual gists/copys of topic titles from the All Grown Up Forum on nick.com:

"NBA Guest star on All Grown Up - who would you like to see?"

"Who do you think will marry who?" (actual suggestion: Tommy - Kimi, Chuckie - that Nicole girl, Phil - that blonde girl who is Lil's friend and doesn't like Phil in "Coup DeVille", Lil will end up with that jock guy who she talks to in "Coup DeVille", Dil? It's hard to say, Z? - someone more like him, but not Kimi, Angelica - Harold, Susie - Sean, Emica - some famous star)

"Who do you have a crush on?" <-- I kid you not Rolling Eyes

"Do you think Tommy looks wierd with hair?"

"They changed their clothes!" <-- oh me, oh my Rolling Eyes

Mind you there are some sensible questions on there:

"Is The Voice Of Susy The One Who Is Miranda In 'As Told By Ginger'?"

"Why is Dil in Middle School?"

"Whatever happened to Fluffy?" - Angelica's cat in the first run

"What happened to Tommy's Grandpa, did he die?"

"Tommy and Chuckie are in the same classes but they're a year apart. Is Chuckie that dumb? Or is Tommy That smart?"

"Who likes the old show better?"

All from http://www.nick.com/blab/messageboards/viewboard.jhtml?bID=103618 FYI. I worry sometimes.

Re: All That:

Is this the the one show that launched Kenan & Kel into the Nick TV marketplace initially? Although if http://www.nick.com/all_nick/tv_supersites/display_show.jhtml?show_id=all is anything to go by, it looks far too much like an American version of kiddie Tiswas would do...

*logs off nick.com highly confused and bewildered*

I think that ought to be obvious! 10 years are meant to have passed, 10 years is around the average lifespan for a cat-. Work it out for yourself.

Yes, I aggree. They went well overboard. They only needed 1 or 2 eps a week and finsihing it after its first run. 4 eps a week is too much for a series that only has 13 episodes, and continuing past its first, second, third & we're now in the forth run means people will be sick of it.
