Talking about My Parents are Aliens for a moment, is that a new 'Wendy's Mum'. I'm sure when she appeared before in an earlier series it wasn't the same one.

I had wondered where Michael had gone, since Leah returned she's been on daily

I haven't noticed wendy's mum, even though she was the focus of an ep last week. Perhaps I just dont remember her before.

I think he is filming a new series of something. And Leah has had three weeks off, so she's making up for it. But it's never the same unless they are both together!

But both together daily would mean more money to be spent.

No, I'm sure its the same actress as before. Unless they've done a Sophie with her and made the new actress look the same as the previous one...

How do we think the two parter will end? There are only a few more weeks left aren't there?

Isn't the last episode the 3rd december? (if i have worked it out correctly!)

Also has anyone noticed in MPAA that there was a black women teacher for the school play (wendy wanted to be mary) that used to be (or still is) in Emmerdale that hasn't appeared since.
Can anyone remember that??

LoveTV!! Very Happy

MPAA is littered with characters that showed up at least once before and have never been seen again or their disappearance never explained.

Off the top of my head, there's:

Mikey, the fresh-faced kid from Series 1 who was never seen again after episode 3.

Howey, end of Series 2, never seen again despite the storyline saying that the Johnsons were to adopt him.

The black teacher as mentioned above.

Most of the other extras over the years.

And probably some others as well Smile

Yes there will be a third series of takeaway next year. And they are currently developing a pilot for the US. They will film the US version in the UK, but will have an american audience. Uf that goes down well, they will be going over to try and break the US.

But they are still under an itv contract. And itv will be getting the most out of them, with their contract ending next year.

With Saturday Night Takeaway being a granada production, if ant & dec go to the BBC, then they can't take it with them, can they?

They never tried chums on slap bang. They tried beers. Which was ok. I actually liked slap bang, but the problem was that it was and it wasn't sm:tv at night. It was sm:tv for the type of things they were doing, but I think people would have watched it if it was actually SM:tv, or SN:tv. With the same charcaters and sketches.

There's no harm in them trying the chums format in a primetime special.

It would be could if ant & dec wanted to go into acting, asking them to develop a comedy series.

I wonder whether they would want to do a sketch show type thing. After all, most of their presenting career has included them (minue friends like these), even pop idol has them!

Why do all the stars desert us. if they break the U.S.A they will probably go and live there like everyone else Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! Is the U.S.A show being made by ITV ? because I thought Ant and Dec had just signed a £850,000 deal to stay with ITV ? Im confused! Scratch Head

They are currently involved in a golden handcuffs deal with itv, worth more than the sum posted, isn't it £3million for the duo, so £1.5million each for three years.

As the show will be broadcast in america, the contract doesn't stand. It's the fact that they can only broadcast for itv and on itv in the UK.

I believe that Granada that make Saturday Night Takeaway are to make the US pilot.
Thanks very much !

It wouldn't cost more to have Leah and Michael on at the same time, would it? They get payed by yearly sums due to their contract, not what days they come in.

Do they? But if they were working more days wouldn't this sum go up?

I don't understand why the crew are in aevery day, but not both presenters.

Now that Michael's back, I hope we see them together sometime this week. It may be thursday now that friday's have little time, because of a forth repeated episode of all grown up. I hadn't noticed the repeating until monday's double bill that were both only shown two weeks before. Even my mother noticed!

I would've thought they were on contract - Nick presenters are on contracts that end near halloween. And there only on 2 / 3 times a week on Nick L8R.

Nicktoons TV will be showing All Grown Up! next year if anyone's interested.

Ah. So perhaps they are. I wonder what Leah is doing on days when Michael's on, as Michael goes and does other shows.

Perhaps the case is that they dont need them in with so little time, thats why they were together on a friday because they had more time to do things. Though i did prefer how they used to have things earlier in the year where they had callers getting in touch with messages, etc. But they dot have time for them either! Its a shame!

watched it yesterday. bring back Chris Jarvis. he was much better than Michael.

its a shame citv doesnt have the wide choice of presenters that cbbc does
